 I was excited to read another Evie's book, but I was afraid I might stumble across some drama in our lovebirds nest. I hate to see couple in trouble, especially if book no. 1 was such a happy ever after. Well, let me tell you, my fears were wrong, all is good in Rory-Zoe nest! They might just stumble upon other unwanted things. 

But first...

 

STORY: 

 

Brace yourself Scotland, Hollywood’s coming…
Rory’s found the love of his life but can he be sure Zoe feels the same? What can he offer her when his job’s on the line, and his mother’s out to destroy her? When Hollywood superstar, Brad Bauer, shows up wanting to film Braveheart 2 at Kinloch castle, it seems like the answer to all his prayers. However, there’s a catch.

Zoe’s had a crush on Brad since she was a teen. Now he’s here, hotter than ever, and convinced he was married to her in a past life. As Hollywood descends on the tiny village of Kinloch, it’s not just the castle that’s under siege.

A mystical holy man, a sexy starlet, an intense megastar and a couple pushed to the edge. Can Rory navigate the glitter storm and keep his eye on the prize, or by saving the estate, is he about to lose the best thing that’s ever happened to him?

Hollywood Games is a steamy, love conquers all, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy, with no cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happy ever after (HEA). It can be read as a standalone but is most enjoyed after reading Highland Games.

When Hollywood meets the Highlands, things will never be the same again... 

 

 OPINION:

I was afraid there might be some trouble in paradise, but I was relieved to discover there is still all good between Rory and Zoe. 

Somehow Zoe managed to get Hollywood actor Brad to film in Kinloch and grumpy introvert Rory isn't excited about that fact. But he would do everything for sweet Zoe, even bring his caveman part outside. Kinloch is full of new people and interesting actors and Rory doesn't know where is his part.

While Zoe and her "second family gang" enjoy all the fun and spotlight, Rory is pretty insecure and nervous. And when his Zoe becomes inspiration for female heroine, things become more and more confusing in Kinloch. 

Will they have time for themselves? What will happen with mother and Zoe? Is there trouble in paradise?

I liked the story, it was pretty funny and believable, I somehow expected Zoe to become a lead actress but all worked out in other (even more funnier) direction. I loved involvement of Jamie and Sam (AND CAN'T WAIT TO READ THEIR STORY NEXT YEAR) and we get to see some cute scenes with Basil the rat and Bandit. 

Relationship with Zoe and Barbara (Rory's mum) is put on a thin line and I was definitly shocked at the outcome. 

 

Story had a twist through the end that I wasn't expecting it, but it completed the story in a nice way. I just wished we could maybe see a glimpse of the possible wedding?

THINGS I LOVED: 

- CHASING THROUGH THE SNOW- THAT BUM MELTED THE SNOW, i BELIEVE!

- REALLY STEAMY  SCENES- AND ONCE AGAIN, AT THE END OF THE BOOK YOU HAVE ALL THE SMUTTY SCENES PUT IN ORDER. 

. SAM AND JAIME'S COOPERATION AND SONGWRITTING. 

. AMAZING MORAG AND FIONA FAMILY TIME WITH ZOE.

- BASIL AND THE SECOND PROPOSAL. OR WAS IT THIRD ONE?

 

 

I'm sure we will follow more Zoe and Rory's adventures through the other books.
